Rex killed women in the family home. His hideous wife Asa and their two eerie adult children lived with him. There were questions.
Within six days of Rex’s arrest Asa filed for divorce using attorney Robert Macedonio. Macedonio is a former partner of Rex’s lawyer Michael Brown.
Obviously Asa filed for divorce on the advice of Rex to avoid scrutiny –

Suddenly Asa’s lawyer Robert Macedonio got Peacock involved. In a deal brokered by rapper Fifty Cent and Melissa, Asa and her two ugly children got a million bucks. Asa’s reprobate lawyer Robert Macedonio got $400,000.00. The misfit lawyer Ves Mitev – he represents two adult children in a case where child support and custody cannot be issues – got $200,000.00.

Kerri Rawson – Dennis “BTK” Rader’s daughter – contacted the Heuermann family to “offer support.” I think it was the money. In the documentary, Rawson – a fat hideous creature – empathizes with the Heuermann family.

Former DA Thomas Spota once wiretapped Asa’s deal making attorney Macedonio. He arranged drug sales, etc. Enough to put him away for life. Spota’s political allies got recorded on the wire too – buying drugs and Judges from Macedonio. If it went to trial Spota would have to release the recordings. Macedonio pled to a low level felony – no jail time. Judge Hudson restored his law license.

Then There’s Massapequa
Roy Demeo had his “crew.” They killed over two hundred people. They were lured to an apartment to “discuss things.” Bang! Out jumps a thug. The victim is shot in the back of the head. Bang! Someone wraps a towel around their head to limit the mess. Bang! One of the crew stabs the victim in the heart to stop it and the bleeding. Bang! Slice the victim’s throat from back to front. Hang the victim upside down in the shower to drain the blood. While the blood drains they eat spaghetti. Then they take out their butcher kits. Bang! Dismember.
Not just mobsters – waitresses, neighbors, a college student vacuum cleaner salesman. Murdered.
Better than being suspended from Rex’s basement ceiling and tortured for days.
Demeo lived four blocks away from Rex.
Richard “The Torso Killer” Cottingham began his 80 kill frenzy while staying at his uncle Alfred’s house five minutes away from Rex. Mob boss Carlo Gambino lived a few blocks from Rex too. Ordered dozens of killings. Did some himself. Go a few blocks from Rex’s house in another direction and Bang! John Gotti Jr. ordered dozens of killings. Serial killers Joel Rifkin and Robert Shulman lived minutes away from Rex. There’s also the Mafia graveyard of the Lucchese Family four miles away – dozens of victims.
Massapequa is a “Shithole”
In 1644 Captain John Underhill massacred hundreds of the indigenous Massapequa Tribe in present day Massapequa. On February 2, 1933 folks out for a stroll found the body of 15 year old Mary Helen O’Connor in a wooded area. Serial killer Albert Fish bagged her.
On January 11, 1977, 17 year old Steven Arnold kidnapped a 21 year old woman from the Sunrise Mall. He sexually assaulted her. Arnold did a little time, then came home to Massapequa. On July 17, 1984, 11 year old Angela Wong disappeared. Found in a creek bed the next day – beaten, drowned, her pants pulled down, a log placed on the back of her neck holding her head underwater. Two hairs recovered from inside her underwear.
Nassau cops can’t solve it.
On November 2, 1985, a 12 year old girl slept soundly in her home. A man snuck in at 4:00 A.M. Snatched her from her bed. Carried her out a window. As the man dragged the struggling girl through a neighbor’s yard, the neighbor turned on a light. The man ran. Steven Arnold lived on the same street. Unsolved.
On July 22, 1992 Steven Arnold raped a woman near the Massapequa train station. Cops got him. While in jail inmates beat the snot out of him. Arnold sued Nassau County. He got $900,000.00. He got five to fifteen for the rape.
There’s others.
On the night of March 22, 1994, an intruder kicked in the door to Maxine Small’s basement apartment in Massapequa. He shot her. Small died as she called 911. Twenty-six years old, engaged and pregnant. Unsolved.
On November 3, 1995, Lottie Dietel’s husband and son returned home from the family business. They found Lottie murdered in the basement of their Massapequa home – stabbed with a kitchen knife. Unsolved.
In 2002 the NCPD is desperate to solve anything. They framed Angela Wong’s neighbor Manuel Pacheco for her 1984 murder. His DNA didn’t match the hair recovered from Angela Wong’s underwear. Pacheco is never told. He’s convicted.
After 17 years the Innocence Project got the DNA reports. The lab excluded Pacheco as a contributor of the DNA recovered from Angela Wong’s body – the mitochondrial DNA (hair) found in Angela’s underwear. Nassau knew in 2001.
The NCPD also knew that the DNA matched Steven Arnold who lived near Angela Wong. They let serial rapist/killer Steven Arnold go free with his $900,000.00.
Arnold still lives in Massapequa a half mile from Rex’s ramshackle house.
Long Island Lolita
Massapequa is fun. Take Amy Fischer the “Long Island Lolita.” This 15 year girl gunned down Mary Jo Buttafuoco outside Mary Jo’s Massapequa home. Husband Joey Buttafuoco – the auto mechanic – banged the hell out of 15 year old Amy, then dumped her.
Amy found herself in a world of hurt. Prosecuted for attempted murder, assault and weapons charges. Abandoned by her mechanic boyfriend. Amy got a hack lawyer named Eric Naiburg to represent her. Naiburg also Banged Amy and then dumped her.
Meshuggeneh.
Joey Buttafuoco’s lawyer Dominic Barbara got arrested for such things as choking a woman; harassing his ex-wife and shoplifting. That was after Barbara represented Jessica Hahn, a church secretary from Massapequa.
Hahn got Banged by televangelist Jim Bakker and another preacher. Hahn claimed she voluntarily ended up in a hotel room with the two men where she was involuntarily drugged and Banged. Bakker claimed consensual Bang. He gave Jessica $249,000.00 dollars of his donor’s money.
Bakker did all of his Banging behind his wife Tammy Faye’s back. Tammy Faye preached on television with Bakker. Together they built an empire robbing their white trash congregation out of millions. The white trash got Banged too. MAGA decades before MAGA.
Tammy Faye’s fake tears caused black mascara to run down her face. “Oy vey,” she said.
I’m lying. She did not say, “Oy vey.” More like, “Jesus loves me.”
Hahn ended up in Playboy.
Buttafuoco went to prison for four months. He’s been in and out of jail ever since for things like soliciting prostitutes Bang!
All famous. Appearances on tabloid television and Saturday Night live. Barbara became a regular on Howard Stern.
Then Amy Fisher claimed that her lawyer Naiburg lied to her. All detailed in an affidavit filed by her new lawyer, Bruce “Narcolepsy” Barket. Raccoon eyes Barket argued that Naiburg’s sexual relationship with Amy interfered with Naiburg’s lawyering.
Naiburg said, “Schmuck! I am stunned by the allegations.”
Barket said, “Rather than consider strategies Mr. Naiburg became obsessed with personally exploring Ms. Fisher’s sexual proclivities to satiate his own perverse needs.’’
Naiburg said, “Oy vey.”
Amy ended up in porn too.
Other Famous Massapequans
Other famous Massapequans include Billy, Danny, Alec and Steve. The Baldwin brothers. They slaughtered cinema and a cinematographer.
Jerry Seinfeld grew up in Massapequa too.
