The MAGA Christina Marie
There was a Deputy Bureau Chief at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office named John Scott Prudenti (“Homo John”). Prudenti owned a “smoke-belching boat.” He would charter it to defense attorneys who had clients that Prudenti prosecuted. The attorneys paid Prudenti thousands of dollars to sit on a boat that never left the dock.
Prominent defense attorneys Raymond Perini and William Collado told Newsday that their respective firms jointly made checks out to a corporation owned by Prudenti. Prudenti was a bureau chief and 30-year veteran of the district attorney’s office. The payments were ostensibly made to rent his 47-foot piece of shit boat – the Christina Marie.
Perini referred to the outings as a “knock-around good old time party.” There was “lobster, barbecue, hookers” … BANG! … I lied. He did not say “hookers.”
Perini did observe “the most powerful people in Suffolk’s criminal justice system including prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges and Suffolk District Attorney Thomas Spota – attended the parties.” Cops, Judges, Politicians in Suffolk means there were hookers. https://raymondzuppa.com/maga-land/
Two other defense attorneys asked not to be identified. They said they went on Prudenti’s boat. It was a well-known way to gain favor with Prudenti, who prosecuted many of their clients.
But Perini and Collado took great pains when they said the payments for the summer party were not used to get better deals. “I don’t think this affected his ability to make decisions at all,” said Perini, a former Suffolk County prosecutor who failed miserably in a 2013 attempt to unseat District Attorney Thomas Spota.
Spota was later convicted for his role in orchestrating the cover up of the torture of a drug addict in the Fourth Precinct. Cops tortured the drug addict all day. If you give thousands of dollars to a man that is prosecuting your client you don’t expect a sweet deal – that’s what Perini is telling us. “They’re eating the dogs … they’re eating the cats.”
Perini’s estimates of what he paid for the parties fluctuated wildly from “about $5,000” to “$1,500 to $1,800 for some of the parties.”
Perini said “no” to a request to provide copies of the checks he gave to Prudenti.
The American Bar Association mandates that prosecutors avoid allowing their professional judgment to be affected by private financial interests. “Prosecutors must inform their supervisors of any matter that could reasonably be viewed as raising a potential conflict of interest.” Supervisors decide whether disclosure in the courtroom is warranted with a presumption in favor of disclosure.
Prudenti’s supervisor Thomas Spota went on the alleged “boat trips.”
In fact Spota promoted Prudenti who had previously been convicted of driving while impaired to Bureau Chief of the Vehicular Crimes Bureau. Dynasty of MAGA Homos
Prudenti came from a Suffolk County Dynasty. His father Jack was a “prominent attorney in Suffolk County for over 50 years.” His uncle Anthony Prudenti made millions of dollars building 5,000 homes in Suffolk County. He avoided environmental regulations by buying the Government. He also became the Suffolk County Republican Party Chairman from 1980-1984.
John Scott Prudenti’s cousin Gail Prudenti – Anthony’s daughter – became the chief administrative judge for all New York State courts. Prudenti also served as the Presiding Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department.
Prudenti’s landslide election to the Supreme Court in 1992 was backed by Suffolk Republican leaders, including party chief John “Slimy” Powell who I knew personally. He came to the nightclub I bounced at most weekends and got blitzed. He liked to snort white powder.
As to Gail Prudenti Powell told Newsday that the probate attorney was “very qualified and well respected in legal circles . . . and she is my son’s godmother.”
At the height of his power in the 1990s, Powell headed both the county and Brookhaven town Republican Parties. He sat on the Assembly after a stint in the town Highway Department. He was also a member of the Town Board.
A federal jury convicted Powell in 1999 of federal extortion and racketeering charges after prosecutors linked him to the chop shop used by a truck theft ring. He ran the chop shop out of the Brookhaven Highway Department. The jury also found him guilty of taking bribes. He received a light sentence of 27 months in federal prison. In my experience that means Powell found Jesus and started rolling on people. He died in 2012 of a massive heart attack at the age of 51. In my experience that means someone shut his big mouth. Or he took a super snort.
Homo John
But this is about Judge Gail Prudenti’s cousin ADA John Scott “Homo John” Prudenti who cops caught giving a blow job to another man in the parking lot of a Diner – so a retired Detective told me.
The other version is Homo John picked up a man at the diner. The man somehow drove off with Homo John’s car. Did a blow job happen? Everything else happened.
I met Homo John at a wake. Stared right at every part of you and I’m ugly. Swore Spota was innocent. He probably packed fudge with him. He reminded me of John Wayne Gacey.
